Helen Wooldridge artist wearing a white t-shirt and paint-splattered apron holds several paintbrushes and a canvas while standing in front of a large blue and teal landscape painting on a white wall.

I paint from images and colours mostly in my mind ~ inspired by the sea, mountains, colours I love, places I have been fortunate enough to travel, often with highlights of gold.

I would call my work semi-abstract, but the shapes of nature, geography and the horizon usually sneak in.

My work ranges from tiny wooden blocks painted in gem like colours, to larger canvases that reflect more flowing ideas of landscape, seascape and beautiful colours & textures that feel right.
